Who is Lawsy?

American singer, rapper and YouTuber Lawson Mayo – aka Lawsy – was born under the zodiac sign Virgo on 21 September 1994, in Raleigh, North Carolina USA. He’s perhaps known best for his presence on the internet, including for his YouTube channel “Lawsy”, which he launched on 2 October 2017 and which is today subscribed to by close to 25,000 people. Lawsy’s uploaded 51 videos onto the channel and all of these together number nearly six million views; most of these feature him rapping, spending time with his friends and taking on some of the internet’s most popular challenges.

Some websites mistakenly claim that Lawsy was born in either 2006 or 2007, mostly because of his youthful appearance, as well as that he’s currently attending a local high school.

Early life and education

Lawsy was raised in Raleigh by his parents whose privacy he respects, and about whom he thus rarely speaks on the internet; his father’s believed to be an architect and his mother a doctor but this remains unconfirmed. Because Lawsy’s yet to talk about having siblings, most of his fans believe him to be an only child.

He attended a local high school in Raleigh and was into a couple of activities while there as he enjoyed appearing in school plays, taking dance lessons and freestyle rapping with his friends. Lawsy avoids speaking about his love life, and most of his fans believe that he doesn’t have a girlfriend but is rather focused on his career.

Judging by the lyrics of his songs, Lawsy’s slept with numerous girls and prefers to live this way rather than having a single girlfriend and being faithful to her; his fans have also claimed to have seen him spending time with different girls in public.
