Gabriel was born on 5 December 1982, in Austin, Texas, USA, the son of Gabriel Lopez Luna and Deborah Ann (nee Perez). His father died three months before Gabriel’s birth, so his mother raised him; she was just 15 years old when she gave birth to him.
