Crystal Lowe spent her early years in her hometown of Vancouver, where she was raised by her Chinese father and Scottish mother, the names of whom haven’t been revealed to the public. During her teenage year, she moved with her family to Hong Kong, China, where they lived for two years before they returned to Canada.
