When the popular action drama series “Gotham”, based on the old DC comics, was released in 2014, starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue and Jada Pinkett Smith, one of the main protagonists Bruce Wayne, Batman, was portrayed by David Mazouz. This role brought him four award nominations such as the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series in 2018, and ‘19, the Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice TV Actor: Action and, the Young Entertainer Award nomination for Best Leading Young Actor – Television Series. David Mazouz was born under the zodiac sign of Pisces on 19 February 2001, in Los Angeles, California USA, thus he holds American nationality, and he comes from a family of mixed Greek Jewish and Tunisian Jewish descent.
He was raised in his hometown by his father Michela Mazouz, a medical doctor born in Tunisia, and by his mother Rachel Cohen, a psychotherapist from Greece; David has one older sister, Rebecca.
Speaking of David’s educational background, he attended Shalhevet High School, a modern Orthodox Jewish school, and upon matriculating in 2019, he enrolled at Stanford University, and is currently a full-time student at this college.

Later in 2013, David was seen as Steve in an episode of the series “Major Crimes”, then in the following year, he guest-starred as Ryan Hatcher in “Drop Dead Diva”, before he was cast to play Bruce Wayne, his biggest role, to date, in “Gotham”, which was broadcast from 2014 until 2019. Concurrently, in 2017 he was heard as Peter’s Co-Worker in the animated comedy series “Family Guy”, also starring Alex Borstein, Seth Green and Seth MacFarlane.

There have been various rumors concerning both David’s love life and his sexual orientation, however, it’s widely known that he was in a relationship with Camren Bicondova, an American actress famous for her portrayal of Catwoman. The two first met on the set of the series “Gotham”, and soon after started dating, with their fans thrilled with the news.
People noticed that the chemistry between them was constantly active in their scenes as Catwoman and Batman. However, the two broke-up shortly after, but they remained good on-screen and off-set friends, although they haven’t revealed the reason for ending their love story.
