Carter Rubin has spent his early years in his hometown of Shoreham, where he’s being raised by his father David and mother Alonna Rubin. The profession of his father is unknown, while his mother profession is also unknown, but she’s the founder and president of an autism advocacy group called Families in Arms – he has a four years older brother named Jack Rubin, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of two.
He holds American nationality, belongs to White Caucasian ethnic group, and is a Christian. Regarding his education, Carter is currently attending Shoreham-Wading River Central School.

Carter Rubin is growing-up in a musical family, and developed his love for singing and performing at a very young age, under the influence of his maternal grandfather, Ric Mango, who is a former singer, and who performed at such local events as the Westbury Music Fair and the summer concert series in Long Beach.

Carter initially auditioned for the highly popular American talent show contest “America’s Got Talent” when he was around 12 years old.
Although he didn’t get through to appear on TV, it didn’t discourage him from continuing to pursue his dreams further. He then continued to perform at local events in New York, and eventually resolved to try his luck with another TV show. At the age of 14, he auditioned for the 19th season of the American reality TV singing competition series “The Voice”, which aired from 19 October to 15 December 2020 on NBC.
He performed the song “Before You Go” by Lewis Capaldi for his blind audition, and two of the four coaches, John Legend and Gwen Stefani, turned their chairs to see who was singing.
Carter then chose to join Team Gwen, and thanks to his outstanding talent, he made it to the finale, and was eventually named winner of the season, becoming the youngest male winner of the show, and it was Gwen’s first and only win as a coach. He took the $100,000 cash prize, and a recording contract with Republic Records.
Following his victory in the show, Carter Rubin moved to a studio to create music. He released his debut single entitled “Horoscope”, in October 2021, and shortly afterwards, he also released the music video for the song.
