Who is Billy Unger?

American actor William Brent ‘Billy’ Unger was born in Palm Beach County, Florida USA, on 15 October 1995, making his zodiac sign Libra. He’s had roles in more than 20 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still best known for his portrayal of Male Commentator in the 2009 sports comedy movie “Fired Up!”, which Will Gluck wrote and directed, and which starred Sarah Roemer, Nicholas D’Agosto and Eric Christian Olsen. It follows two teenage boys who’ve chosen to go to a cheerleading camp instead of a football camp; the film was nominated for a California on Location Award for Location Professional of the Year – Features (Douglas Dresser).

Billy hasn’t been active in the film industry since 2019, but hasn’t officially retired; it’s believed that he’s taken some time off acting, to spend with his wife and their children.

Billy was raised in Palm Beach County alongside his sister Erin and brother Eric, by their parents William Unger and Karley Unger; he rarely talks about his family, as he respects their privacy.

Billy played Kevin in the 2016 comedy “Junketeers”, and was then cast to appear in an episode of the romantic drama “Masters of Sex”, the family comedy drama “Baby Daddy”, and the comedy “The 5th Quarter”.

In 2017 and 2018, he starred as Ron, alongside Jack Dylan Grazer and Bobby Moynihan, in the popular comedy “Me, Myself and I”. Dan Kopelman created the series, which follows three periods in the life of a 50 years old man.

Billy wrote the 2004 biographical documentary comedy “Bushisms”, and the 2007 documentary “Some Assembly Required”.

His producing debut was the 2005 TV special “The Hollywood Show”, while he’s since produced 19 episodes of the 2012 documentary series “How the States Got Their Shapes”, the 2015 documentary series “Time Travelling with Brian Unger”, and the 2021 documentary series “The Secrets of Christmas Revealed”.
