As of 2023, Shapiro has two acting credits under her name. She starred as Miriam Aronowitch in the musical drama movie “A Light for Greytowers” in 2007, and portrayed Golden Goblet Singer in an episode of the musical comedy series “Glee” in 2012.

Shapiro is a married woman, having walked the aisle with Jacob Roth, who serves as a Staff Attorney at the Virginia-based national headquarters of Young America’s Foundation (YAF). He majored in Slavic studies and Russian Literature at Northwestern University, then graduated with a law degree from the Virginia School of Law. The duo first met on a blind date organized by a mutual friend. At that time, Roth was a freshman whereas Abigail was a postgraduate student at the Manhattan School of Music. They began dating in May 2017 and eventually exchanged vows exactly a year later in a Traditional Jewish ceremony attended by family and close friends.
