Rise to Prominence
In 1974, Robyn secured the role of her career when she was selected as Miss Stein in the Academy Award-nominated western comedy film “Blazing Saddles”, directed by Mel Brooks and written by Brooks, Norman Steinberg, and Andrew Bergman, with Gene Wilder, Cleavon Little, Slim Pickens and Madeline Kahn in the lead roles, which tells the story of an African American Sheriff, appointed to the position by a corrupt politician who wants to ruin a western town.
