Kerri made her first television appearance portraying Calpernia in an episode of the series “The Magical World of Disney” in 1987, and then two years later, she guest-starred as Madeline Green in “ABC Afterschool Specials”, followed by her role as Karen Sevrance in the series “In the Heat of the Night” in 1990.
Kerri was cast to play Kate Granum in the TV mini-series “The Burden of Proof”, which was nominated for two Primetime Emmys in 1992, and concurrently with this role, she portrayed Stacey in “Mad About You”, while her next television role came in 1994, when she guest-starred as Sara Ogilvie in an episode of the series “Murder, She Wrote”.
