In 2009, Damien Dante Wayans made his directing debut with the musical comedy film “Dance Flick”, which he also wrote and produced. Three years later, he made guest appearances in such TV series “Let’s Stay Together”, “Watsky’s Making An Album”, and “That’s A Friend”, before his next major project in 2013, when he was cast as himself in the BET comedy drama series “Second Generation Wayans”, starring alongside his cousin Craig Wayans; he also served as an executive producer and writer for the show. however, the series was ended after a single season.
