Who is Vanessa Ray?

Vanessa Ray Liptak was born in Livermore, California USA, on 24 June 1981 – her zodiac sign is Cancer, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress with close to 30 credits to her name, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of the supporting character Eddie Reagan in the hit mystery crime series “Blue Bloods”, created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, and which stars Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes. It follows a family of police officers in New York City, the series has been airing since 2010 (Vanessa joined the cast in 2013) and has won four of the 21 awards for which it’s been nominated, including a 2013 Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series, Miniseries or Movie.

Early life and education

Vanessa was raised in California by her father James and mother Valerie Liptak; not a lot is known about her parents as she respects their privacy, but it’s said that her father was a truck driver, and her mother a nurse. Vanessa hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.

She grew up being interested in various activities, and was 10 when she appeared in her first play, performed at her elementary school. Vanessa was physically highly active during her teenage years, as she played volleyball for her high school’s team, while she was also into dancing, singing and creative writing.

It was created by I. Marlene King, starred Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale, and follows four friends who’ve teamed up against an anonymous enemy, who’s set on revealing their darkest secrets on the internet; the series aired from 2010 to 2017, and won 45 of the 91 awards for which it was nominated.
