The new millennium
Tony entered 2001 with three roles, notably as Ian in “Pearl Harbor,” with Ben Affleck and Kate Beckinsale. A year later, he realized a longer TV series presence for the first time, portraying Cpl/Sgt Pete Twamley in 11 episodes of “Ultimate Force,” through 2003. After playing Rodney in “Flight of the Phoenix” in 2004, Tony realized Hondscioh in “Beowulf and Grendel” in 2005.
In 2006, he got one of his most significant career achievements, in the award-winning lead role of Clyde in Andrea Arnold’s drama mystery thriller entitled “Red Road”.

Concurrently, in 2014, besides three other roles, he featured as Gaines in three episodes of the legendary Kurt Sutter TV series entitled “Sons of Anarchy.” After a role in the film “Awaiting” in 2015, Tony realized another five portrayals in 2016, most prominently Callum in six episodes of “Crazyhead.” Two roles and a year later, Curran was seen in three of the four parts he is most famous for: Sgt. Mikey ‘Rad’ Radulovic in seven episodes of “Ray Donovan,” Angus Og Macdonald, Lord of Islay in “Outlaw King,” and award-nominated Logan McClay in “Calibre.”
In 2019, he played James Smith in “Deadwood: The Movie,” which is his fourth most popular performance. Their honeymoon was spent in Italy, across Venice and Rome. They have since had a daughter, born in September 2013.
