Born Miriam Spickler under the zodiac sign of Aquarius on 27 January 1956, in Coral Gables, Florida USA, she holds American nationality, and comes from a family of Jewish descent.
She was raised in her hometown by her parents, Kathy Talent a former dancer, and Philip C. Spickler a civil engineer. Her mother was Episcopalian, and her father was Jewish; he became involved with Scientology before Mimi was born, thus the organization was part of her upbringing.

There have been various rumors concerning Mimi’s love life after she divorced Tom Cruise, but what we know is that she was dating Dodi Fayed, an Egyptian film producer, however, this relationship was short-lived.
