Alvaro Antonio Garcia Perez was born on 23 February 1975, in Algeciras, Spain. He hasn’t revealed the names of his parents but has said that he always looked up to his father and that he was always an inspiration to him. When he was two, the family moved to Bujalance, Cordoba, where he spent the rest of his childhood and adolescence.
The youngest of three brothers, Alvaro studied for a degree in communications engineering, but he eventually switched to dramatic art, ultimately graduating from the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico de Cordoba in 1999. Following his graduation, Alvaro furthered his studies at the University of Tampere, Finland, after which he settled in Madrid, Spain.
