Who is Bianca Butti?
American cinematographer, producer and director Bianca Butti was born in Los Angeles, California USA in 1981; the exact date of her birth remains undisclosed, but Scorpio’s believed to be her zodiac sign. She’s worked as a cinematographer on 20 movies, and is perhaps known best for working on the 2022 romantic horror movie “Bones and All”, directed by Luca Guadagnino, and which starred Timothee Chalamet, Taylor Russell and Mark Rylance. It follows the life of young woman Maren who’s fallen in love, and the movie won three of its 71 award nominations.
Bianca’s also known for being a former girlfriend of American actress Amber Heard.
Education and early life
Bianca, her brother Leo and their sisters Antonia and Claire were raised in Los Angeles by their businessman father whose name hasn’t been disclosed, and mother Silla Butti who’s a housewife; Bianca hasn’t shared many details about her family, as they prefer to maintain their privacy.
She became interested in the film industry while attending a local high school in Los Angeles, however, unlike some of her peers who wanted to become famous actors and actresses, Bianca dreamed of making movies.
She matriculated in 1999, and then enrolled at San Francisco State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in cinematography in 2003; it remains unknown what she did for the following nine years, prior to launching her career in the film industry.
Career as a cinematographer
Bianca’s debut as a cinematographer was the 2012 short musical film “Chant Et Fugue”, and the following year saw her work on the romantic comedy film “Hank and Asha”, written and directed by James E. Duff, and which starred Andrew Pastides, Mahira Kakkar and Brian Sloan. It follows a lonely New Yorker and an Indian girl studying in Prague, Czech Republic who’ve fallen in love on the internet, and the movie won 11 of its 15 award nominations.
Bianca could then have been seen working on the short comedy movie “BUNNi”, the reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and the short drama movie “Gray Dog”, all released in 2013.

In 2014, she worked on eight episodes of the reality comedy show “This Is Hot 97”, which starred Angie Martinez, Ebro Darden and Funkmaster Flex, and follows the people working at the radio station HOT 97. The year 2015 saw Bianca work on both the short comedy film “Moving On” and the fantasy western movie “Eyes of the Moon”, and in 2017, she worked on the crime musical film “An American in Texas”, written and directed by Anthony Pedone, and which starred Barry Corbin, Quinton Aaron and Tony Cavalero. It follows a group of teenagers who’ve founded the rock ‘n’ roll band Surgeon General’s Warning, and the movie won three of its seven award nominations.
Bianca then worked on the 2018 musical movie “Erika Wennerstrom: Extraordinary Love”, the 2018 action series “Kill Rob Bailey” and the 2019 short adult movie “Her & Him”.
In 2020, she worked on the popular romantic comedy movie “Bedroom Story”, written and directed by Courtney Daniels, and which starred Annie Cavalero, Elisa Cawley and Christal Marie Deloney; it follows a husband and wife as they’re facing difficulties in marriage.
Most recently, in 2022, Bianca worked on the thriller film “Measure of Revenge”, directed by Peyfa, and which starred Sonnie Brown, Jasmine Carmichael and Keith Ramone Charles. It follows theatre actress Lillian Cooper as she’s investigating her son’s death, even though the police have already declared an accidental overdose as the cause of death.

Bianca attracted a lot of attention in January 2020, when she began dating American actress and model Amber Heard, perhaps today known best for her marriage to and divorce from famous American actor Johnny Depp.
Bianca and Amber often appeared in public together, and seemed to be quite happy; Amber welcomed her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard in April 2021, born via surrogacy, and although the girl was to be raised by both Bianca and Amber, the two women separated in December 2021.
Bianca hasn’t mentioned other women or men whom she’s been with, and seems to be single as of March 2023, while it’s widely known that Amber’s been in several relationships, with both men and women since 2008. She was in a relationship with American painter and photographer Tasya van Ree from 2008 through 2012, and was arrested in 2009 for domestic violence towards Tasya.
