Sam Kiszka is an American singer and bassist, who’s perhaps best known as one of the founding members of the classic rock band, Greta Van Fleet. He currently serves as the band’s lead bassist, and has also played several other musical instruments including the organ.

Samuel ‘Sam’ Francis Kiszka is a native of Frankenmuth, Michigan, who was born under the Aries zodiac sign on 3 April 1999, which makes him 24 years old as of January 2024. Kizska, who goes by the nickname, Clav King, was in middle school in 2012 when he was recruited by his brother Jake and his close friend Kyle Hauck to play bass for the band, Greta Van Fleet. Currently, the band consists of his two brothers, Josh, who’s on vocals, Jake on guitar, and Danny Wagner on the drums. In March 2017, the band signed a contract with Jason Flom’s record label, Lava Records, and in April of that year, they released their first studio Extended Play (EP), “Black Smoke Rising.” The band’s first single, “Highway Tune” was well-received, and topped the Active Rock chart and “Billboard” U.S. Mainstream Rock chart for one month from September 2017. On 10 November 2017, Greta Van Fleet recorded their second EP, “From the Fires,” which was made up of four new songs,plus songs from their debut EP, and which won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2019.

Greta Van Fleet released their first studio album, “Anthem of the Peaceful Army” on 19 October 2018, and in the first week of its release, the album topped “Billboard’s” Rock Album chart. On 16 April 2021, the band released another studio album entitled “The Battle at Garden’s Gate,” which was followed by “Starcatcher” (released in July 2023). Sam has served as the composer and executive producer for the first, second and third volumes of “Greta Van Fleet – Live at the Red Rocks Amphitheater”, and “Greta Van Fleet – Live at the Red Rocks Amphitheater: Encore.”
