Although born in Massachusetts, Steve grew up in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and from his teen years became interested in the paranormal. When he was 15 years old he started focusing more and more on paranormal activities, and two years later he was already a semi-professional in the field. By the age of 20 he began investigating on his own, but then formed his own investigation team in Worcester, Massachusetts. Thanks to his dedication he also met James Hawes and Grant Wilson, and joined TAPS , which brought him into their TV series, Ghost Hunters. He is in charge of the camera and other technical equipment duties n the show, and has also started the magazine called “Paramagazine”, as a part of their TAPS organization.

Steve has also featured in several other shows about the paranormal, including “Destination Truth” (2009), “Ghost Hunters Academy” (2009-2010), and “The World Within” (2010) among others, which have also improved his net worth, however, “Ghost Hunters” remain his most notable work so far. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that, considering his devotion to the paranormal, Steve will continue with his investigations, and will search for new sightings of the paranormal throughout the world.

Before he permanently chose his career, Steve worked as a police officer, and was also the drummer in the metal band Perpetual Doom, sharing the music credits with now successful music star Phil Labonte of the band All That Remains.

Regarding his personal life, when it comes to his marital status, Steve isn’t married, but he is in a long-term relationship with Alyce Haynes.

Steve has discovered that his mind is a victim of several phobias, including fear of flying – a problem impacting on his sometimes need for rapid travel – spiders and other things that crawl, apparently extending to some types of seafood such as shrimps, crabs and lobsters.
