She is a retired actress, probably best known for her appearances in the role of Maria in the TV series “Sesame Street” (1971-2015), and playing Judge Gloria Pepitone in the TV series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2013-2016). She is also recognized as a writer. Her career was active from 1971 to 2016.
