Easton Phillips, who’s perhaps known better by his professional name Slim Jesus, was born in Hamilton, Ohio USA, on 10 April 1997 – his zodiac sign is Aries, and he holds American nationality. He’s a rapper, YouTuber and a social media star, who’s probably known best for his YouTube channel “ImSlimJesus” which he launched on 4 June 2014. It’s today subscribed to by close to 300,000 people, and numbers over 70 million views of all his videos combined; Slim Jesus only uploads his music videos onto the channel.
Early life and education
Slim Jesus was raised on the east side of Hamilton by his parents about whom nothing’s known, because he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father’s a police officer, and that his mother Irene’s an accountant.
He hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, which is why most of his fans believe that he’s an only child.
Slim Jesus and his family moved to the west side of Hamilton when he still very young. He became interested in rapping while he was still attending a local elementary school, and soon learned that it was the drill trap style that interested him the most; the style is easily recognizable by its nihilistic and violent lyrics. While at high school, Slim Jesus was nicknamed ‘Swag Jesus’, but he changed his professional name to what it is today prior to gaining recognition on the internet. His main inspiration was the drill rapper Chief Keef.
He matriculated from a local high school in 2015, and then chose not to pursue a college degree, but to focus on his rapping career.
What has helped him become popular were also the memes created by unknown people on the internet, who compared Slim Jesus to Dewey from the critically acclaimed comedy series “Malcolm in the Middle”.

Slim Jesus released his debut single “Drill Time” in 2015, and a couple of months later, on 19 August 2015, he uploaded its music video onto his YouTube channel. The online gossip and entertainment magazine “Bossip” wrote an article about the video, and it became a huge hit on the internet; the music video has since been watched over 60 million times, and some people refer to it as a ‘certified suburbs classic’.
Slim Jesus has released eight more singles, and embarked on the Young & Ignorant tour to promote his music. He has also held a couple of concerts with other musicians, and nearly all of these events were sold out soon after bookings were opened.

Slim has only three other videos which have been watched more than a million times, and it appears that he hasn’t been so popular since 2016. We’re going to mention these three videos, which have helped him gain many subscribers.
On 17 September 2015, he uploaded “Slim Jesus – Buck Buck” onto his YouTube channel, and it has since been watched more than five million times; most of his fans believe this song to be his best, even though “Drill Time” has been watched 10 times more.
Slim Jesus’ third most watched video – “Slim Jesus – Traffic (ft. Cash & Links)” – has been viewed close to 2.5 million times since 1 March 2016, and his fourth most popular video “Slim Jesus – Facts” has been viewed over two million times since 17 February 2016.
His five other music videos have all together been viewed less than 1.5 million times, while his least popular video “Slim Jesus – Kold As Ice (Audio)” was uploaded on 3 December 2020, and numbers less than 70,000 views.

Slim Jesus is quite popular on Instagram, and is today followed by more than 120,000 people, although he’s uploaded only two pictures onto the network.

He launched his Twitter account in December 2012, and it’s today followed by close to 30,000 people, while Slim Jesus has tweeted close to 2,000 times, but not since 26 October 2015, when he wrote that ‘Hilary Duff is a baddie’.

Slim Jesus hasn’t been that active in the rap industry in the past five years, only releasing a single song per year. His most recent music video – “Slim Jesus – Splurgin’” – was uploaded in mid-2021, and has since been watched close to 400,000 times.
He apparently still performs in clubs, and also works as a DJ.
Love life and girlfriends
Slim Jesus is highly secretive when it comes to sharing the details of his love life with his fans, but there are still various rumors circulating the internet, concerning his current relationship status and his sexual orientation.
Some of his fans believe the popular rapper to be gay, and this to be the reason behind him not speaking of any women whom he has perhaps been with. A fan has even claimed to have seen Slim Jesus being rather too close to a male friend at a club, but no evidence has been provided to support these claims, nor has Slim Jesus commented on this.
