Skepta Net Worth $2 Million

Skepta’s career beginnings trace back to the early 2000s when he became a part of the grime group Meridian Crew, which consisted of President T, Skepta, JME – Skepta’s brother – Big H, Bossman Birdie and Paper Pabs. After several successful songs, the group disbanded and Skepta and several other members started Boy Beter Know, another grime crew, but also a record label. Some of the artists found on the label include, Frisco, Wiley and Drake.

Furthermore, Skepta launched his solo career, and in 2007 released what was actually his debut studio album – “Greatest Hits” – but before that he also released a mixtape entitled “Joseph Junior Adenuga”. His album received positive critiques, which only inspired him to continue making music, and in 2008 he released a single “Rolex Swee”, which reached No. 89 on the UK Singles Chart. The following year, Skepta released his second album, “Microphone Champion”, and after that success reached a deal with the All Around the World Production (AATW) record label. His first album for the major label “Doin’ It Again”, came out in 2011, and it reached No. 19 on the UK Albums Chart. He also released several songs as singles from the albums, including “Cross My Heart”, which featured Preeya Kalidas, and it reached No. 31 on the UK Chart, and “Rescue Me”, which reached No. 14.

Most recently, Skepta released his fourth studio album “Konnichiwa” (2016), which became his best album to date, as it reached No. 2 on the UK Album Charts, and it became his first album to chart on the US Billboard 200 Chart on No. 160. Furthermore, the album achieved gold status, increasing Skepta’s net worth to a large degree. Some of the songs from albums that propelled Skepta into stardom include “That’s Not Me”, “Man”, and “Shutdown”.

Regarding his personal life, apart from his musical career there is really no info about the successful musician, as he tends to keep his most intimate details away from public eyes.
