Simone Arianne Biles was born on 14 March 1997, in Columbus, Ohio USA, of part-Belizean descent, and is a gymnast, best known for being the most decorated American gymnast with a total of 19 Olympic and World Championship medals. She’s been active on the sport since 2011, and all of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Simone Biles? As of early-2018, sources estimate a net worth that is at $2 million, mostly earned through a successful career in gymnastics. She won the 2016 Olympic individual all-around, and is referred to as the greatest gymnast ever. As she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Simone’s mother was unable to take care of her children during their youth due to drug and alcohol addiction, so Simone was put out to foster care, as her birth father had abandoned the family, also due to addictionsl. She was taken care of by her grandfather and his second wife, and was later officially adopted; she spent most of her secondary education being homeschooled. She matriculated in 2015, and would then commit to attending UCLA, however, she deferred enrollment to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics, and later forfeited her NCAA eligibility by going professional.

Biles started performing in gymnastics at a young age, and was encouraged by instructors to pursue the sport. She began training virtually full-time at the age of eight, and in 2011 started her junior career in the American Classic, placing third all around. One of the reasons she transitioned to homeschooling was to have more time to train, and this led her to immense success during the 2012 season, in which she placed first all around at the American Classic as well as in the 2012 US Classic in Chicago. She then made her second appearance at the USA Gymnastics National Championships, in which she placed third all around.

In 2013, Simone made her senior international debut at the American Cup, finishing second, then competed at the City of Jesolo Trophy, taking first place all around. After a poor performance during the 2013 US Classic, she would recover at the 2013 USA Gymnastics National Championships, becoming the national all-around champion, and the first American gymnast since Shannon Miller in 1991 to qualify for all four event finals. After missing the start of the 2014 season, she would eventually return and win more awards, including competing at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships at which she led the US to its second consecutive world team championship, and only the second American woman to repeat as world all-around champion.

In 2015, Biles continued to compete consistently and declared turning pro, forfeiting her chance to compete for UCLA. She joined the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship, and the team would win their third consecutive gold medal at a World Championships event, and making her the first woman to win three consecutive all-around titles in World Gymnastics Championships history. As reigning National champion, she continued to perform splendidly, and was named to the team for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, competing in all four events of the final – the only member of Team USA to do so – and winning the gold medal in the individual all-around. She helped the USA team claim a medal in every event for the first time since 1984, and set the American record for most gold medals in women’s gymnastics. She then decided to take a break in 2017, and return to training in 2018.

For her personal life, not much is known about Simone’s romantic relationships, if any. She is a Catholic and mentioned that Belize is her second home. In January 2018, she came forward with allegations that she was sexually abused by gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar.
