Serena Williams is still one of the most feared female tennis player on the planet. Just last week, Serena continued at the very best by winning her third Rogers Cup title, conquering Romanian Sorana Cirstea in a score of 6-2, 6-0. Additionally, it marked her eighth WTA title of the year and 54th of her profession. Williams then took home $426,000 for the win while Cirstea received $213,000. The $ 12 million sanction cash came from her contracts with Nike, Gatorade, Kraft Foods, Wilson and OP1. It was reported that in 2004, she inked a $40 million deal with Nike. Her archrival and 26year – old Russian player Maria Sharapova topped the list with $ 29 million gains – $ 23 million in endorsements and $ 6 million in prize money.
