Sarah Rafferty Net Worth $3 Million

Sarah is the youngest of four daughters born to Marry Lee Rafferty, the Chairwoman of the English Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart school, and Michael Griffin Rafferty Jr.. She credits her parents for even pursuing a career as an artist since her father was an oil painter, and he and her mother got her into arts from an early age.

Instead of painting, she chose acting and went to Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts from which she matriculated in 1989. She then enrolled at Hamilton College, but in her junior year moved to the United Kingdom and studied theatre at the University of Oxford, before returning and in 1993 graduating magna cum laude from Hamilton College. Her studies didn’t end there, as she enrolled at the Yale School of Drama, from which she received a Master of Fine Arts degree.

Sarah’s career started in 1998, portraying the character of the same name in the television film “Trinity”, starring next to Gregory Scott and Ava Lee Scott. The following year she had only a brief appearance in the popular TV crime-drama series “Law & Order” (1999), while in 2000 appeared in the romantic comedy “Mambo Café”. Sarah continued with minor and one-off roles in such TV series as “Walker, Texas Ranger” (2001), “Third Watch” (2002) and “The District” (2002) among others, only to make a breakthrough in 2007 with the role of Rachel in the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated drama “What If God Were the Sun?”, next to Lacey Chabert and Sam Trammell. Her net worth was established.

Two years later, Sarah appeared in the comedy “Four Single Fathers”, and then in 2011 was selected for the role of Donna Paulsen in the highly-acclaimed TV drama series “Suits”. So far, she has appeared in all episodes, which has certainly increased her wealth. Since joining the series, Sarah has made several other concurrent appearances, including portraying Emily in the comedy film “Small, Beautifully Moving Parts” (2011), and the lead role in the romantic comedy “All Things Valentine” (2016), further increasing her wealth. Moreover, Sarah is working on the thriller-horror film “Browse”, which is currently in post-production but is yet to receive a release date.

Regarding her personal life, Sarah has been married to stock research analyst Aleksanteri Olli-Pekka Seppala since 2001; the couple has two daughters together.

Sarah and Gabriel Macht, her co-star in “Suits”, have been close friends since the early ‘90s when the two met at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
