Ruby was impressive on the show, and she quickly became one of the main stars, scheduled for a win in the show. As “The Great British Baking Show” progressed, Ruby’s popularity also grew, and she launched an Instagram account on which she began sharing some of her recipes.
Although one of the youngest contestants in the show, Ruby reached week 10, the final week. Her opponents in the last bake-off were Rahul Mandal and Kim-Joy Hewlett, and were tasked to make 12 iced doughnuts, both filled and ring, then six pita breads in 90 minutes, and for the showstopper, they had to create a landscape dessert with three different elements in four and a half hours.
