Who is Robb Wells?

Canadian actor, screenwriter and comedian Robert Christopher ‘Robb’ Wells was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, on 20 March 1971, making his zodiac sign Pisces. He’s had roles in over 60 movies and TV series, and is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Ricky, one of the lead characters in the crime comedy series “Trailer Park Boys”, created by Mike Clattenburg, and which also starred John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith. It follows three felons as they’re making a documentary about their lives in a trailer park, the series aired from 2001 to 2018 and won four of its 26 award nominations.

Education and early life

Robb was raised in Moncton by his mother and father, about whom he hasn’t shared a lot because he’s respective of their privacy; it’s believed that his father worked for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as a forensic expert, and that believed that Robb doesn’t have siblings, as he hasn’t spoken of having any. When Robb was eight, the family moved to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

He was focused on his education while growing up, and only became interested in comedy when he was around 15 years old, and cast to appear in a play performed at his high school. Robb also enjoyed playing various sports during his teenage years, excelling in ice hockey.

He matriculated in 1989, and then enrolled at Saint Mary’s University, Nova Scotia, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in commerce in 1993; he then chose to pursue acting, rather than to launch a career in his field of study.

One of Robb’s most recent film roles has been his portrayal of John Andrew in the 2021 drama “Dawn, Her Dad & the Tractor”, written and directed by Shelly Thompson, and in which Robb starred alongside Maya V. Henry and Amy Groening. It follows a transgender woman who’s returned home following her mother’s death, and has seen her father and sister for the first time since her gender change.

So as of October 2022, Robb thus seems to be unattached, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
