Rob Schneider Biography

Robert Michael Schneider, was born on 31 October 1963, in San Francisco, California USA into a Christian and Jewish family, with Polish-Jewish (father) and Filipino (mother) descent. Rob Schneider is an actor and comedian, perhaps best known for his appearances in such movies as “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”, “Grown Ups”, “The Hot Chick” among others. What is more, Rob is also a director and screenwriter. During his career Schneider has been nominated for such awards as Primetime Emmy Award, MTV Movie Award, Blockbuster Entertainment Award and Teen Choice Award. As Rob has been working in movie and television industries for almost 30 years, there is no surprise that he is one of the most famous comedians.

So how rich is Rob Schneider? It is estimated that Rob’s net worth is about $16 million, the main source of his wealth being his work as an actor ,and also his appearances as a comedian. In addition to this, Rob’s career as a screenwriter and director also adds to his net worth.

Rob Schneider Net Worth $16 Million

Rob started his career as a comedian when he was still studying in school, later performing at various bars and clubs. In 1987 Rob appeared in the HBO’s Annual Young Comedians special, and soon he was noticed by the producers of the television show, called “Saturday Night Live”, on which Rob was invited to work as one of the writers. This had a huge impact on the growth of Rob’s net worth and popularity. After working only as a writer for “Saturday Night Live”, Rob himself started appearing on the show, portraying different characters.

Despite the success Rob had while working on this show, he decided to leave and began working in the movie industry as well. Some of the first movies that he appeared in after leaving the “Saturday Night Live” include “Surf Ninjas”, “Demolition Man”, “The Beverly Hillbillies”, “Judge Dredd” and others. All these appearances added to Rob Schneider’s net worth. In 1999 Rob acted in one of his most famous movies, entitled “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”. During the making of this film Rob had an opportunity to work with William Forsythe, Eddie Griffin, Adam Sandler, Arija Bareikis among others. In 2008 Rob worked as the director on the movie entitled “Big Stan”, which was quite successful and it proved that Rob is not only a talented actor and comedian but a director as well. Clearly, his activities as a director affected his net worth.

Other movies that Schneider has appeared in include “Jack & Jill”, “American Virgin”, “Life Outside”, “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan”, “The Benchwarmers” and others. Rob still continues his career and there is no doubt that the list of the movies that he has appeared in will only become longer, already approaching 50.

If to talk about Rob’s personal life, it can be said that in 1988 he married London King and they have a child, but their marriage ended after two years. In 2002 he was married for the second time, to Helena, but this marriage also ended up in divorce. In 2011 Rob married Patricia Azarcoya, with whom he lives up until now, with one child. All in all, despite the fact that Rob has experienced criticism for his humor and his work, he still continues working on new projects and proving that he is a very talented actor and comedian.

1You know you're successful in show business when people start suing you. Now there's another level to it. When people start saying you're dead.
2[on stand-up comedy] I'm still figuring it out. I delve into what's interesting to me. The fact that 400 people in America make more money combined than the 150 million people at the lower end of the tier is pretty outrageous. But where's the joke? People aren't going there to hear what I think about politics. They wanna laugh. I talk about my marriage, my family and stuff that people can, hopefully, relate to.
3"People don't ask Andre Agassi, 'You know you're the No. 1 tennis player in the world ... have you thought about polo?'" - When asked if he'd ever consider a dramatic role.
4(On why he chose to leave Saturday Night Live (1975) in 1994 after four seasons): "It was time to graduate".
5The real reason I decided on show business was to avoid a day job.
