Reichen Lehmkuhl Net Worth $2 Million

To begin with, after the divorce of his parents when he was five years old, he moved to Norton, Massachusetts. The boy was raised by his mother and a stepfather. He is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy.

Concerning his professional career, Lehmkuhl worked simultaneously as a professor of physics at the Crossroads School in Santa Monica, an instructor pilot and casual model in Los Angeles, when he was approached by the cast director of “The Amazing Race” aired on CBS. Then, he joined forces with Chip Arndt, and they became the first male couple to win the competition. Eventually Lekhmuhl moved to Dallas, and afterwards played in an episode of “Impossibly Handsome Man” (2003). He directed “The Reichen Show” on Q Television until the channel cancelled it in the middle of 2006, then in 2007 played the role of Trevor in “Dante’s Cove”. In 2010, he played “My Big Gay Italian Wedding” in a theatre off Broadway (New York).

In the middle of 2010, Lehmkuhl and his companion, the model Rodiney Santiago, joined the team of the reality show “The A-List: New York”, but low audience ratings led to the cancellation of the show at the end of the 2nd season. He appears regularly in various sitcoms on American television, as well as in the reality shows. He is also photographed for calendars.

More, he published an autobiography entitled “Here’s What We ‘ll Say” in October 2006. The book is based on his life events when he served as an air force pilot. There, he discovered other cadets who, like him, had homosexual feelings, but within the US military by the strict rules and suppression policy (Do not ask, do not tell) felt driven as far as the experience of their affection for members of their own sex. Eventually, Lehmkuhl organized an underground group for gay cadets in the Air Force Academy. This group of 50 cadets came every two weeks at an undisclosed location together to make arrangements for their own protection, and fellow gay cadets to help out of trouble. They invented an alibi for the cadet that would be adopted by all the others in the group, so that if the military leadership questioned them, they would all give the same answer. The group was eventually betrayed by two (gay) cadets from their own ranks, who from heartbreak and / or jealousy decided to drag in the others after a fatal confession about their sexual orientation.

Recently he has been working with designer Udi Behr launching a jewellery collection for men called “Fly Naked”. The titanium-based collection includes a ring, bracelet, pendant (warp) and cuff. The style was inspired by aviation, and focuses on the more masculine types among homosexual and heterosexual men. A portion (10%) of the proceeds go to the Servicemen’s Legal Defense Network (SLDN), the American organization that opposes homophobic military policy in the US.

Finally, in the personal life of Lehmkuhl, he openly admits to being gay. In 2006, he announced his relationship with the former member of the band ‘N Sync, Lance Bass. In 2008, the two split up, and since then he has been associated with Rodiney Santiago (2009-2010) and Keith D. Black (2012-present).
