Andrae Hugh Sutherland was born on 19 July 1988, in Saint Thomas, Jamaica, and under the stage name Popcaan is best known as a DJ, singer and songwriter. He released his debut studio album entitled “Where We Come From” in 2014, which contained a variety of songs. He’s collaborated with various popular artists including Gorillaz, Drake, and Giggs since becoming active in the industry in 2007, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

In 2015, he was heard on the song “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)”, before he won a MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act. The following year, he worked on the song “Controlla” by Drake and also released the single entitled “Ova Dweet”, which led to him making his first UK appearance at the “Red Bull Culture Clash”, where he performed with several acts.
