Peter Michael Davidson was born on 16 November 1993, in Staten Island, New York City USA, of Jewish, German, Italian and German ancestry. At just seven years old, he lost his dad, which marked his childhood and teenage years.
He turned to acting to process the trauma, but at one point ripping his hair out until he was bald. He confessed he had suicidal thoughts during his teenage years, but that the music of Kid Cudi had a positive effect on him. Pete first attended St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School, and then Tottenville High School, but ultimately transferred to Xaverian High School, from which he matriculated in 2011. Pete then attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights for one semester, before quitting to pursue a career in comedy.
