Paulina Susana Rubio Rue, a Mexican model, singer and TV star known professionally as Paulina Rubio, was born on 17 June, 1971 in Mexico City, Mexico.  Paulina is perhaps best known as a member of Timbiriche, a Mexican pop-rock band, which became one of the most successful bands in Ibero-America, and this is because Timbiriche has managed to sell over 20 million albums worldwide. With some breaks, the band was active from 1982 to 2008, and Paulina was a member until 1991. Paulina has also appeared on TV and in a couple of movies, which have added considerably to her net worth.

Her debut in the film industry was in 1983 with El Dia del Compadre. Paulina Rubio also produced Es.Cine (2008), and has appeared on Besame en la boca (1994) as well as Locas de Amor (2009). She grossed a solid sum for voicing La Hombre Con Tecno-corazon (2014).

Paulina Rubio has been acknowledged as number 12 on the 25 Sexiest Pop Divas, according to E! Entertainment.

Paulina is also a philanthropist, engaging in activities supporting AIDS research, heart desease, and also neurological problems.

In her personal life, from 2007 to 2013 Paulina Rubio was married to public relations executive Nicolas Colate. The couple has a son.
