Paul Potts was born on 13 October 1970, in Bristol, England. Paul is an opera singer, who is best remembered for coming into prominence when winning “Britain`s Got Talent” in 2007, a British television talent show competition that originated from the “Got Talent” franchise, and Paul appeared in its first season, performing “Nessun dorma”, an aria from Puccini`s opera “Turandot”. Soon after Paul was announced as the winner, he released his debut album “One Chance”. The album entered to the first position on UK Albums Chart.

Regardless, he continued singing at several Bristol churches through his teens. After school, Paul was employed in minor job positions, for example in Tesco. However, he then studied at University College, Plymouth, graduating in 1993 with a BA (Honours) degree in Humanities.
