Paul Lieberstein was born on the 22nd February 1967, in Westport, Connecticut USA, and is a Primetime Emmy Award-winning producer, writer, and actor, best known for producing, writing and playing Toby Flenderson in the American version of the sitcom “The Office” (2005-2013). Lieberstein’s career started in 1994.

Paul Lieberstein was born a son of Judith and Stanley Lieberstein and grew up in Connecticut, where he went to Staples High School. Later, Paul studied at Hamilton College and graduated in 1989 with a BS degree majoring in economics, while his first job after a graduation was as an auditor at Peat Marwick International. However, that lasted only six months, and Lieberstein moved to his father’s law firm, where he worked as a part-timer, but both these jobs established his net worth, and enabled him to do what he really wanted.

Paul started his writing career in 1994, when he wrote three episodes of the series “Weird Science”, and then he worked on three episodes of “The Naked Truth” (1995-1996). From 1997 to 2000, Lieberstein wrote 12 episodes of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated animated series “King of the Hill”, while he also served as supervising producer and co-executive producer from 1998 to 2000.

After working as a writer and producer on several television shows, including “The Drew Carey Show” and “The Bernie Mac Show”, in 2005 Lieberstein began working on a new TV show called “The Office”, which was the American version of a popular British sitcom. The series won Golden Globe and numerous Emmy Awards, two of which Paul won, and he wrote 16 episodes, produced 166 episodes, and appeared in 142 episodes himself until 2013. His involvement in this project helped him to increase his net worth significantly.

Most recently, Paul produced six episodes of the Golden Globe Award-nominated “The Newsroom” in 2014, while he wrote the script for “Song of Back and Neck”, which he will also directed, and the movie is currently in post-production expected to be released un late 2017.

Regarding his personal life, Paul Lieberstein was married to his first wife with whom he has five children, but in 2008, he married Janine Serafin Poreba and is still with her. He is a middle brother of Susanne Daniels and Warren Lieberstein.
