Pam Dawber Net Worth $10 Million

Pam attended North Farmington High School and after matriculating, attended Oakland Community College with the intention of transferring to a college with a four-year course. However, while studying there, she found an opportunity to model and soon dropped out of school to pursue that career full time.

Dawber worked with Wilhelmina Models and moved to New York City for the job. After a while, she decided to switch to acting, and started appearing in various commercials for products including Underrals and Nair. She then became a co-star of the sitcom “Mork & Mindy”, which helped her rise to prominence. The series ran from 1978 to 1982 and featured Dawber as an eventual love interest for the extra-terrestrial Mork, played by Robin Williams. After the series’ run, she was also seen as part of the production of “The Pirates of Penzance”, in which she showcased her singing skills. Later in the 1980s, she was given the chance to be a part of “My Sister Sam” alongside Rebecca Schaeffer. The show would become extremely popular, but suffered a significant drop in ratings after it was moved by scheduling to Saturday night. One year after the cancellation of the show, a fan shot and killed Rebecca which led to many of the show’s stars to reunite and shoot a public service announcement against violence.

In the 1990s, Pam appeared less in front of the camera as she focused more on her family. She was still seen in several films during this period, including “Stay Tuned” and “I’ll Remember April”, in which she starred alongside her husband Mark Harmon. She also appeared in the television series entitled “Life…and Stuff”. Other projects she’s been a part of include “The New Twilight Zone”, “Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story” and “Don’t Look Behind You”. One of her recent works was “The Crazy Ones” in which she reunited with Robin Williams.

For her personal life, Pam has been married to Mark Harmon since 1987, and they have two sons – Sean is an actor. Dawber and Harmon are known to be very private about their family life and rarely talk about it in interviews. Prior to their marriage, Pam had relationships with Weems Westfeldt and later Phil Coccioletti. After Schaeffer’s death, Pam also became a gun control advocate.
