Paden went to Lipan High School in his hometown, after which he enrolled at Tarleton State University, for which he has competed in rodeo.
Career Beginnings
Interested in horses from an early age, he joined his first rodeo club at just eight years old, and during his junior career, Paden was the reserve champion team roping heeler.
While a senior in high school, he competed at The American, and the same year qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo.
He turned professional in 2019 by joining the Pro Rodeo Cowboys team, and in his rookie year he was chosen as the rookie rodeo cowboy in Heeling. Moreover, he ended the season in 17th place in PRCA, and the same year he finished fourth in the Wrangler National Final Rodeo qualification.

Paden continued to improve over the years, and is now one of the most popular and most successful professional rodeo cowboys.

He won several events of 2019, including the Los Fresnos Rodeo and the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show & Rodeo, then the Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo, the St. Paul, the Laramie, Jubilee Days, and the Horse Heaven with his rodeo partner Erich Rogers.
He was the co-champion at the Annual Fourth of July Celebration at Window Rock, Arizona, again with Erich Rogers.
In 2020, he won the Round 1 of the season and managed to win four other rounds with an average of 80.2 seconds, which earned him $122,962 at the NFR.
He also won the Cody Stampede in Wyoming and several other events.
To speak further of his accomplishments, in 2021 Paden had a very successful previous season and was the co-champion in tie-down roping at the Big Timber Weekly Pro Rodeo, and co-champion at the Kitsap Stampede at Bremerton, Washington.
With Erich Rogers, Paden won several events, including The American at Arlington, Texas, then the duo won the San Angelo Cinch Chute-Out event, and the Ute Mountain Round-Up held in Cortez, Colorado.
Furthermore, the stunningly successful duo won the Lehi Roundup in Utah, then the Cache County Fair and Rodeo, again in Utah, and the Spokane Interstate Rodeo in Washington.
In All-Around completion, Paden was extremely successful at the Ute Mountain Round-Up as he won the event, and repeated the feat at the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo in Kansas, then at the Spokane Interstate Rodeo, and he won the Rodeo de Santa Fe.
Thanks to his eponymous success in 2021, he finished the season as second in the world, and at the top of the 2021 Wranglers NFR league.
