Besides Taekwondo, Valerie practiced karate, and as mentioned, made her first appearance in the 2015 series “Ninja Bitch Killer” opposite Oscar A. Diaz and Maura Renteria. From 2019 through 2021, Valerie participated in the sports show “Bellator MMA”. Amassing a 4-1 MMA record, she also became an international Taekwondo black belt (4th Dan) champion, the US National Taekwondo Champion, Pan-American Taekwondo Champion, US Open Taekwondo Medalist, and Haitian Open Taekwondo Champion.

Valerie’s fight team was American Top Team called Coconut Creek, and the head trainers were King Mo, Jesus Gallo, Steve Bruno, and Mike Brown. Valerie credited “Bellator” for giving her the opportunity to make a name for herself.

Her first fight was held on 16 February 2019, and Valerie won against Colby Fletcher. Next, Valerie was seen on 14 June 2019 when she defeated Larkyn Dasch. On 7 August 2020, Valerie won by technical knockout against Tara Graft.

In June 2022, Valerie announced that she was leaving MMA, and taking her talents to WWE. She signed on the NXT (next generation of up-and-coming superstars) brand, and her ring name is ‘Lola Vice’. According to Scott Coker, a representative of “Bellator”, Valerie stays an active and under-contract fighter with “Bellator”, however, they wish her the best of luck in pursuing her dream of becoming a WWE star.
