Despite coming from a troubled background, with his parents both having problems with drug and alcohol abuse, Montana rose above it and has made a successful career in the music field. During his early life, Walter listened to rappers such as Tupac, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z, and himself started rapping at the age of 15. In 2008, he became a part of the group 300, named after the movie of the same title, with its other notable member being Montelle Talley, who is known by her stage name Talley of 300 – the group’s music is still available on Facebook. However, soon Montana focused on his solo career, and in 2014, he released his debut mixtape, ‘’Cursed With A Blessing’’, which featured ‘’Holy Ghost’’ and ‘’Ice Cream Truck’’. In the following year, Bradford made an appearance in ‘’Empire’’, a popular television series broadcast on Fox, and during the same year teamed up with his former band-mate, Montelle Talley for the sake of creating ‘’Gunz and Roses’’, a mixtape which featured songs such as ‘’New Storm’’ and ‘’Them Games’’. He followed by releasing his debut mixtape in 2016, ‘’Fire in the Church’’, which was distributed by FGE / TSO Music Group and consisted of 18 tracks including ‘’Bad as Hell’’ and ‘’No Smoke’’, on which he collaborated with Talley once again. The album received a mostly positive response from the audience, so Montana subsequently released ‘’No Surrender No Retreat’’, an album consisting of his most successful songs, working with his fellow singers from the Fly Guy label, adding steadily to his net worth.

When it comes to Montana’s latest projects, he released the album ‘’Don’t Doubt God’’ in 2017, with 15 new songs and teaming up with Jalyn Sanders and Talley of 300 once again. In 2017, he also worked with his fellow rapper Keon100k on ‘’Official’’, which was Keon100k’s single on ‘’Come Up’’ released by Innocent.

Montana also remixes the tracks of other artists, thus in 2015 he worked on ‘’White Iverson’’, ‘’Trap Queen’’ and ‘’Chiraq’’, which were recognized by other singers and shortly afterwards he began hanging out with Kanye West, one of the most prominent names from the rap world, and Russell Simmons.

When it comes to his private life, Montana shares a lot of information through his social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram, and is followed by more than 137,000 people on the former and 364,000 on the latter. He apparently has a daughter and two sons, but doesn’t share the identity of their mother(s). He was a subject of controversy when he went to jail, convicted of  weapons possession – he was released in July 2017.
