Who is Michael Ciminella?
The late American businessman and marketing consultant Michael Ciminella, was born in Kentucky, USA in 1945; even though his exact date of birth remains undisclosed, it’s believed that Aries was Michael’s zodiac sign. He’s probably still remembered best for having been the first husband of the late American actress and singer Naomi Judd, stepfather of American country music singer Wynonna Ellen Judd, and father of American actress Ashley Judd.
Michael passed away from natural causes a couple of years ago, but the date of his death remains undisclosed.

Michael was raised in Kentucky by his mother Mary Bernadine Dalton and father whose name remains undisclosed; he didn’t’ speak of having siblings, and most of Michael’s fans believe that he was an only child.
He studied at a local high school in Kentucky and was interested in a couple of activities during his time there, such as practicing creative writing, playing soccer and running track. Michael matriculated in 1963, and then enrolled at college, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1967.

Michael hasn’t shared many details about his career, but it’s known that he became a businessman and investor not long after graduation, and that he eventually founded Ashland Aluminum Co.

Michael and Naomi Judd married in a private ceremony in 1964, attended by many of their closest friends, and Naomi gave birth to their daughter Ashley Tyler Ciminella on 19 April 1968; before Michael and Naomi began dating, she became pregnant with her boyfriend Charles Jordan who then abandoned her, and Michael legally adopted their daughter Wynonna Ellen Judd as soon as she was born.
Michael and Naomi divorced in 1972, and while he hasn’t mentioned other women whom he’s been with, it’s known that Naomi married her second husband, American musician Larry Strickland on 6 May 1989 – they didn’t have children together.
Michael was unattached at the time of his death, he had one former wife Naomi Judd, and two children with her (one of whom he adopted).

Michael was mostly focused on work, and rarely took any time off; this was one of the reasons why he and Naomi eventually divorced, as she wanted a husband who would spend more time with her and her children.
He was passionate about sports during his 20s and 30s, as he often played tennis and soccer with his friends, but Michael stopped being physically active when he became more focused on work.
His career took him to many countries around the world, but he enjoyed travelling around the US the most.

The late American actress and singer Naomi Judd was born as Diana Ellen Judd in Ashland, Kentucky USA, on 11 January 1946, meaning that Capricorn was her zodiac sign. She appeared in over 20 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still remembered best for playing Honey, one of the lead characters in the 2014 romantic musical movie “An Evergreen Christmas”, written and directed by Jeremy Culver, and which also starred Robert Loggia and Booboo Stewart. It follows Evie Lee who’s left Hollywood to attend her father’s funeral in Balsam Falls, Tennessee, and the film was nominated for three awards.
Naomi was raised in Ashland by her father Charles Glen Judd who was the owner of a gas station, and mother Pauline Ruth ‘Polly’ (nee Oliver) who was a riverboat cook. She had a brother Brian who was 17 when he died from leukemia, while Naomi was only 18 when she gave birth to her daughter Christina Claire Ciminella, who later changed her name to Wynonna Judd.
Naomi became popular after she and Wynonna launched their country singing duo The Judds, with 20 of their songs placing amongst the top 10 on the Billboard Country Singles chart, while 15 peaked at #1. The mother and daughter duo won five Grammies and numerous other awards and accolades, while Naomi was also presented with a Grammy for Country Song of the Year, for writing “Love Can Build a Bridge”.

It was revealed that she had hepatitis C in 1991, and The Judds thus disbanded, but Naomi reunited a couple of times with her daughter in the following two decades, to perform some of their most popular songs.
Naomi launched her acting career in 1979, when cast to play Girl in Bus in the popular war comedy film “More American Graffiti”, directed by Bill Norton, and which starred Candy Clark, Bo Hopkins and Ron Howard. Set in the ’60s, the film follows five people as they’re dealing with adulthood, relationships and Vietnam War. Some of Naomi’s following roles were in the 1983 biographical musical film “Living Proof: The Hank Williams, Jr. Story”, the 1993 western movie “Rio Diablo” and a 1994 episode of the drama series “Sisters”. In 1999, she played the lead character Sarah Musser in the drama movie “Family Tree”, directed by Duane Clark, and which also starred Robert Forster and Andrew Lawrence; it follows a young boy who’s trying to rescue an ancient oak tree by preventing his father from building a real-estate project there, and the movie won two of its three award nominations.
Naomi had only a couple of roles in the 2000s, while her three final roles were in the 2013 romantic comedy movie “Nearlyweds”, the 2014 romantic comedy film “Window Wonderland” and the above mentioned 2014 romantic musical film “An Evergreen Christmas”.
Naomi took her own life by firearm on 30 April 2022; she had previously struggled with depression, panic attacks and anxiety, while her medication produced side effects such as tremors, alopecia and edema.
