Who is Quincy Isaiah?

American actor, model and social media personality Quincy Isaiah Crosby was born in Muskegon, Michigan USA, in 1996; his exact date of birth remains undisclosed, but Scorpio’s believed to be his zodiac sign. He has only two acting credits, gaining a lot of attention by portraying the lead character Magic Johnson in the 2022 biographical sports series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty”, created by Jim Hecht and Max Borenstein, and which also starred Jason Clarke and John C. Reilly. It follows the lives of sportsmen who played basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers in the ‘80s, and the series won two of its 17 award nominations.

Education and early life

Quincy was raised alongside his brother Gregory Crosby in Muskegon, solely by their mother Delores Crosby; Quincy avoids talking about his father in his interviews, but has revealed that he passed away when Quincy was still a toddler.

He studied at a local high school in Muskegon and was mostly into playing basketball during his four years there; Quincy was amongst the best players at school, but didn’t focus solely on the sport as he was also into acting, often appearing in school plays.

He matriculated in 2014 and then enrolled at Kalamazoo College in Michigan, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2018; Quincy then moved to Los Angeles, California to work on his acting career.

Career as an actor

Quincy portrayed the main character Alonzo in the 2018 short mystery thriller movie “Corporate Coffee”, written and directed by Samuel Wofford, who also starred in it alongside Quincy and Samantha Nelson; it follows a man who’s just been promoted at work.

His only other role has been in the above-mentioned series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty”, but Quincy’s revealed that he’s been invited to act in a number of upcoming projects.

Quincy’s yet to launch his own YouTube channel, but many videos, most of which feature him giving interviews, have been uploaded onto various channels, and one amongst these has even been watched over a million times. Quincy’s second most popular video “Magic Johnson Trouble at Practice | Winning Time | HBO Max” was uploaded by HBO Max on 5 April 2022, and has been watched over 400,000 times; it’s a scene from the popular series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty”.

His #3 most viewed video “Former Laker Rick Fox and Stars Talk New Series Winning Time” was uploaded by HBO Max on 7 March 2022, and has since been viewed more than 120,000 times; it features Quincy and former Lakers player Rick Fox talking about the series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty”.

Presence on social media networks

Quincy’s steadily becoming popular on the internet; there are close to 20,000 people following him on Instagram today, and he’s posted 25 pictures onto the social media network, most these are in one way or the other related to his acting career.

He’s highly active on Twitter, as he’s tweeted close to 6,000 times since the launch of his account in December 2010, however, only a little over 1,700 people are following him on this social media network.

Quincy uses his Facebook profile only to talk to his friends and family members, and doesn’t allow his fans to interact with him on the network.

He’s yet to launch his own TikTok account, but has still been featured in numerous videos uploaded by other people, and all of these together have been watched over 80 million times.

Love life and relationships

Most people believe that Quincy’s currently focused on his career and isn’t pursuing love, and he hasn’t mentioned any women, or perhaps men whom he’s been with.

Some of his fans have claimed to have seen him and his girlfriend holding hands while walking in the streets of Los Angeles, but they have provided no evidence to support their claims; it’s still believed that the two have been together for a couple of months now, but Quincy’s yet to address the rumors.

There are also some who’ve started to believe that Quincy’s gay, mostly because he seems to be hiding the details of his love life from his fans, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.

Quincy seems to be unattached as of March 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Interesting facts and hobbies

Quincy works out on a daily basis and has rekindled his passion for basketball thanks to his role in the series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Legacy”; some of the other sports which he enjoys playing with his friends include soccer, tennis and golf. Some of his favorite basketball players are the late Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

He loves to wear suits and has a small collection.

Thanks to his sudden rise in popularity, Quincy’s recently signed his first modelling contract, but considers modelling to be his hobby rather than a job.

Quincy likes to listen to rap music the most, and some of his favorite rappers are Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Eminem.

Some of his favorite actors are Al Pacino, Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Depp, while his favorite movies are “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, “Scent of a Woman” and “Les Miserables”.

Quincy is either 26 or 27 years old. He has brown eyes and short black hair, is 6ft 3ins (1.91m) tall and weighs about 190lbs (86kgs).

Quincy’s net worth’s been estimated at over $1 million, as of March 2023.
