Who is Matt Czuchry?

When the crime mystery drama series “The Good Wife” was released in 2009, besides the lead roles portrayed by Chris Noth, Julianna Margulies and Josh Charles, another character caught the eye of the audience from the first season, and that was Cary Agos, a young and ambitious lawyer. Matt was born under the zodiac sign of Taurus on 20 May 1977, in Manchester, New Hampshire USA; he holds American nationality, and comes from a family of Ukrainian descent on his father’s side. Although born in Manchester, Matt was raised alongside his older siblings, sister Karen, and two brothers AJ and Mike, in Johnson City, Tennessee by his parents, mother Sandra, a housewife, and father Andrew Czurchy, a professor at the East Tennessee University.

Matt attended Science Hill High School, and upon matriculating in 1995, he enrolled at Charleston College, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science, in 1999 (with honors).

Matt made his acting debut in 2000, portraying a Teenage Guy in an episode of the series “Freaks and Geeks“, followed by his guest role as Kurt in “Opposite Sex“, before he was cast to play Sean McGrail in “Young Americans”, in the same year.

In 2002, he guest-starred as Skip Hyman in “The Practice”, and as Carl in “7th Heaven”, and then in the following year he was seen as Darin Metcalf in “Jake 2.0”, before he was cast to play Jamie Farrel in “Hack”.

Matt made his first big-screen appearance as Kyle Fuller in the 2002 movie “She Gets What She Wants”, and then he was cast to play Bret in “Eight Legged Freaks“, followed by his roles as Evan in “A Midsummer Night’s Rave“, and as Morris Bird III in “Swimming Upstream“, all in the same year.
