During his time there he worked as an adviser, and then became the associate director of presidential personnel; later on, he would become the chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese. Aside from these roles, Mark also became the deputy assistant secretary for elementary and secondary education, and also a deputy solicitor for the US Department of the Interior. For his private sector work, he continued to practice law, and became the president of the Landmark Legal Foundation which focused on public interest. Clearly his net worth was rising steadily.

Mark started his career in radio mainly as a contributor to conservative radio talk shows. His third book was “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto” in 2009, which became a New York Times #1 Bestseller, and it also reached number 2 on the Amazon.com bestselling books that year. In 2012, “Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America” was published, and in the following year he released “The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic”, which actually debuted at #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list. His latest book, released in 2015, is entitled “Plunder and Deceit: Big Government’s Exploitation of Young People and the Future”, which also became # 1 on the New York Times Non-fiction Bestseller List.

For his personal life, Mark Levin is married to Kendall and they have two daughters; unconfirmed reports suggest that the couple may divorce. It is known that Mark spends some of his time participating in charity work such as the “Freedom Concerts”. He was awarded the American Conservative Union Award during 2001.
