His second album was also the first to reach the Top 40 of the Billboard main album charts. Coronel was then given the chance to tour the United States with a few other famous bands, and names like Recoditos and Gerardo Ortiz.

Luis was awarded a Latin Billboard Music Award for New Artist of the Year for his songs and performance. He was also nominated for Male Artist of the Year in the Regional Mexican Category during the 27th Lo Nuestro Awards.
