Who is Logan Shroyer?

American actor, screenwriter and producer Logan Shroyer, was born in Torrance, California USA, on 10 March 1999, making his zodiac sign Pisces. He’s had roles in 15 movies and TV series, probably best known for his playing of 19 Year Old Kevin in the critically acclaimed romantic comedy series “This Is Us”, created by Dan Fogelman, and which stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore and Sterling K. Brown. It follows the lives of triplets and their parents, the series has been airing since 2016, and has won 69 of its 353 award nominations.

Education and early life

Logan and his two brothers were raised in Norman, Oklahoma by their mother Lexi, and their father whose name remains unknown; the family moved to Los Angeles, California when Logan was six – it’s believed that his father’s a doctor, and his mother a psychologist.

Logan was 14 when he launched his acting career, portraying Young Chris in the 2013 drama movie “Westside”, and the same year saw him make his debut TV series appearance, playing Cole Campbell in the episode “Dinner Party” of the action comedy drama “The Thundermans”. The year 2014 saw Logan play Golden Eyed Boy in the episodes “Pilot” and “Gortimer vs. The Frog of Ultimate Doom” of the hit adventure family fantasy “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street”, which David Anaxagoras created, and which starred Drew Justice, Ashley Boettcher and Sloane Morgan Siegel. The series follows the lives of Gortimer and his best friends Mel and Ranger, it aired from 2014 to 2016, and won nine of its 23 award nominations.

Logan’s since appeared in only one other series besides “This Is Us” – he was cast to play Dean in the 2017 episode “P-R– PROM” of the comedy “Speechless”, which Scott Silveri created, and which starred Cedric Yarbrough, John Ross Bowie and Minnie Driver. It follows the lives of a special needs teenager and his parents, the series aired from 2016 to 2019 and won four of its nine award nominations.

In 2017, Logan was cast to play Hot Debater in the popular comedy drama “Speech & Debate”, directed by Dan Harris, and which starred Jeremy Rowley, Jerry Leggio and Wendi McLendon-Covey. It follows three friends who are disappointed in their hypocrite parents and teachers, and have thus revived the school’s defunct debate club. The same year also saw Logan appear in the family mystery comedy “Camp Cool Kids”, the short horror “The Relic”, and the comedy drama “F*&% the Prom”.

The year 2018 saw him star in both the short drama “The Dying Game” and the short comedy “One Year Later”, then in 2019, Logan portrayed Mark in the short drama “Gnome”, written and directed by Pedro Correa, who also starred in it; it follows two brothers who’ve just eaten hallucinogenic mushrooms, and are now trying to steal a garden gnome.

In 2021, Logan played the main character John-Boy Walton in the drama “The Waltons: Homecoming”, directed by Lev L. Spiro, and which also starred Marcelle LeBlanc and Christian Finlayson. It follows John Boy and his family as they’re waiting for John Sr. to join them for Christmas, but a terrible storm is about to ruin their plans.

Most recently, in 2022, Logan played Derek in the music video “Juice WRLD: Cigarettes”, and he’s currently shooting for the upcoming movie “The Waltons’ Thanksgiving”, set to be released in December 2022.

Other credits

Logan wrote, produced and directed the 2017 short horror movie “The Relic” and the 2019 short musical film “Look What You Made Me Do”,; he also wrote and produced the 2021 short action movie “Resurgence”.

He was featured in the TV special “CTV Big Fall Preview 2018”.

Logan hasn’t mentioned any girls, or perhaps boys whom he’s dated, but there are rumors circulating the internet today claiming that he dated American actress Ryan Newman in 2013; she’s a year older than Logan, and has appeared in nearly 30 movies and TV series, while she’s probably still best known for her playing Cindy Collins aka Princess in the 2006 action adventure comedy movie “Zoom”.

There are still many people who believe that Logan and Ryan didn’t really date, as he was only 14 at that time. There are also those who believe that he’s gay, and that he’s not ready to come out of the closet, but Logan’s yet to address these rumors.
