Who is Kyle Gallner?

Kyle Steven Gallner was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania USA, on 22 October 1986 – his zodiac sign is Libra, and he holds American nationality. He’s an actor with close to 70 credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of Goat Winston, one of the main characters in the critically acclaimed 2014 biographical action movie “American Sniper”. It was directed by Clint Eastwood, also starred Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, and follows the legendary American sniper Chris Kyle who has returned home from war, but has learned that he’s somewhat addicted to it; the movie won 25 awards, including an Oscar for Sound Editing, while it was nominated for 43 other awards.

Early life and education

Kyle was raised in West Chester alongside his two sisters and a brother, by their father Larry, and their mother Mary Jane Gallner; not a lot is known about his family, as Kyle respects their privacy.

He became interested in acting at a very early age, and was a member of his elementary school’s drama club, appearing in plays performed at the school as well as at a local theatre. On 12 December 2015, Kyle exchanged vows with the American actress Tara Ferguson, who has appeared in seven movies and TV series, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Showgirl, in the 2011 romantic drama film “Water for Elephants”, which starred Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon, and won three of the 16 awards for which it was nominated.


In March 2013, Tara gave birth to their son Oliver Michael, and in November 2014, to their second son Leo Grey; Kyle and Tara prefer to keep their sons away from the media’s attention, as an attempt to have them lead a normal life.

Neither Kyle nor Tara have spoken of any other people whom they have perhaps been with, so as of October 2021, Kyle’s married to Tara Ferguson, and they have two sons.

Hobbies and interesting facts

Kyle’s best friend is the American singer and actor Jacob Allen Abel – the two were once in the band The Third Kind; Kyle attended Jacob’s wedding in 2013, while Jacob attended his wedding as well. Kyle is also good friends with the American actor Cristopher James Coy.
