When the drama “The Walk” was released in April 2022, besides the main characters portrayed by Malcolm McDowell, Jeremy Piven, and Justin Chatwin, one character particularly caught the eye of the audience, that of Kate Coughlin; the young and talented actress who played this character is Katie Douglas, who began her career as a child actor.

Katie Emily Douglas was born under the zodiac sign of Libra on 19 October 1998, in Burlington, Ontario Canada, thus she holds Canadian nationality, and her ethnicity is White. She was raised in her hometown by her parents Sean and Jayce Douglas, about whom nothing is known, since Katie respects their privacy; she has one sister, named Sarah.
Because of her surname, many people assume that Katie is related to famous Academy-awarded actor Michael Douglas, however, the truth is that they aren’t relatives.

Katie made her acting debut in an episode of the series “F2: Forensic Factor” in 2007, followed by her role as Jennifer Sabiston in “Flashpoint” in 2009, and then three years later, Katie was cast to play Brenda in three episodes of “Less Than Kind”, and in the same year, she guest-starred as Teenage Nina in the series “Alphas”.
