Who is June Diane Raphael?

June was born in Rockville Centre, New York State USA, on 4 January 1980 – her zodiac sign is Capricorn, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and comedienne, with close to 100 acting credits to her name, while she’s probably known best for her portrayal of the supporting character Susan Trunkman in the popular 2015 comedy movie “Unfinished Business”. It was directed by Ken Scott, starred Vince Vaughn, Dave Franco and Tom Wilkinson, and follows the owner of a small business who has gone on a work trip around Europe with his two associates; the movie was nominated for a Golden Trailer Award for Best Comedy.

June was raised in Rockville Centre, alongside her older sisters Deanna and Lauren, by their father John Raphael and mother Diane; not a lot is known about her family, as she respects their privacy, but it’s said that her father was a car mechanic, and her mother a high school teacher.

June made her debut TV series appearance in the 2002 episode “Memory Lane” of the comedy drama “Ed”, and then went on to play and voice characters in an episode of various critically acclaimed series, such as the comedy “Talkshow with Spike Feresten”, the short comedy “Derek and Simon: The Show”, and the animated comedy “Creature Comforts America” (voice role). She gained recognition with her portrayal of Casting Director in the 2008 comedy “Human Giant”, created by Aziz Ansari and Rob Huebel, who also starred in it alongside Paul Scheer; each 30-minute episode is an edgy short movie.

The year 2010 saw June play the lead character Barb Tolan in the comedy “Players”, and between 2011 and 2013, she played the supporting character Piper Ferguson in the hit comedy “NTSF:SD:SUV”, created by Paul Scheer. It follows the citizens of San Diego who have chosen to protect themselves from terrorists, rather than to trust in their government to protect them. In 2012, June was cast to play the supporting character Cool Stripper in the romantic comedy “Bachelorette”, written and directed by Leslye Headland, and which starred Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan. It follows three friends who are now bridesmaids at their high school friend’s wedding; the movie won one of the three awards for which it was nominated.

A couple of June’s following notable performances were in the 2013 comedy “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”, the 2015 adventure crime comedy “Bad Night”, and the 2017 comedy drama “Girlfriend’s Day”.


Most recently, in 2022 she played Anne in the family adventure comedy “Cheaper by the Dozen”, directed by Gail Lerner, and which starred Gabrielle Union, Zach Braff and Erika Christensen. It follows the lives of all the 12 members of the Bakers family.

In 2005, Paul and June moved in together in Los Angeles, California, and married in October 2009, in a small ceremony attended by only the closest of their friends and family members.


June gave birth to their first son August Scheer on 30 April 2014, and their second son Sam Scheer followed in August 2016. Neither June nor Paul have spoken of any other people whom they have perhaps been with, and as of June 2022, June’s married to Paul Scheer, and they have two sons together.

Hobbies and other interests

June seems to be enjoying the attention which she’s receiving from her close to 500,000 followers on Instagram, and is thus quite active on the network; she’s uploaded more than 600 pictures onto her account, most of which feature her during her everyday life. June’s taking good care of her health, and thus has multiple training sessions at the gym every week; she also meditates and does yoga on a daily basis.
