Born Jenna Welch Bush on the 25th November 1981 in Dallas, Texas USA, she is a teacher, author and journalist, however, but is probably best known to the world as the daughter of the 43rd President of the U.S.A George W. Bush, and his wife, former First Lady Laura Bush. Her career has been active since 2004.

Jenna is one part of the fraternal twins born to George W. Bush and his wife Laura. Her sister is older than her; both attended the Preston Hollow Elementary School, and later The Hockday School, while they lived in Dallas. However, after George W. Bush became the Governor of Texas, the family moved to Austin, where Jenna went to the St. Andrews Episcopal School, and then Austin High School, from which she matriculated in 2000.

After high school, Jenna enrolled the University of Texas at Austin, and during summer attended New York University. In 2004 she graduated with a Bachelor degree in English; however, during her college days, Jenna had problems with the law, as she was arrested several times for possessing alcohol while under the age of 21, and also for having a fake ID. Nevertheless she managed to finish her education, and obtain a degree.

Her career began a few months after graduation when she was hired as a teacher`s aide at the Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School. However, after a year and a half, she left her job to join UNICEF`s Educational Policy Department in Panama as an intern, then after her internship ended, she assumed again the position she held at the school. Nowadays, she works as a part time reading coordinator at the SEED Public Charter School in Baltimore Maryland, and also writes news stories about education for the Today show.
Her writing career began back in 200-6, when she and Robert B. Barnett co-wrote the book about Jenna`s experience in Panama, entitled “Ana`s Story: A Journey Of Hope”, which came out on 28th September 2007; profits from book sales will be sent to a woman who was used as the basis for the book, and a part will be received by UNICEF. Her second book came out in 2008, entitled “Read All About It!”, intended to encourage children to read more.

Since 2012, Jenna has been editor at large for the Southern Living magazine, which has certainly increased her net worth.
