Three years later, Jaren was cast to play 18 years old Hoagie in the action comedy “Tag”, starring Jeremy Renner, which had three award nominations, including the Legionnaires of Laughter Legacy Award for Best Comedy Film.
In 2019, Jeremy was seen as Young Tommy in the crime drama “90 Feet from Home”, starring Shawn Michaels, Adam Hampton and Eric Roberts. The movie followed the story of a former baseball player who returns to his hometown just to confront his abusive stepfather; it had 11 award nominations, and won four, including the Northeast Film Festival Award for Best Feature Film.

A decade later, Jaren was cast to play his most significant, and some critics would say his breakthrough role, as Ben Gross in “Never Have I Ever”, also starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan with whom he shares the Music Television (MTV) Movie + TV Award for Best Kiss in 2021.
Speaking of awards, the series had 14 nominations and won six. The show aired on Netflix from 2020 through 2022, and the third season’s final episode was aired on 12 August 2022. The creator of the series, Mindy Kaling and Netflix have announced the fourth season for 2023.

Although his character from “Never Have I Ever” had a chaotic love life, Jaren Lewison prefers to keep his personal matters under wraps. Many people believed that Jaren and Maitreyi are a couple in the real life, however, the truth is that they are just co-stars and friends.
