Who is Aimsey?

British social media star and YouTuber Aimee – aka Aimsey (girl) – was born under the zodiac sign Sagittarius on 11 December 2001 in Swansea, Wales UK. She’s probably only known for her presence on the internet, including her YouTube channel “Aimsey VODs”, which she launched on 29 November 2022 and which is today subscribed to by nearly 25,000 people. She’s shared 162 videos, and all of these together have amassed nearly a million likes; most feature Aimsey playing video games, reviewing various games, movies and shows, and talking about her future plans.

Education and early life

Aimsey was raised in Swansea by her parents who prefer to be left out of media, which is why Aimsey avoids talking about them on the internet; it’s believed that her mother’s a psychiatrist and her father the owner of his own company located in Wales but this is yet to be confirmed by Aimsey. She hasn’t talked about whether or not she has siblings, but most of Aimsey’s fans believe that she was raised as an only child.

She studied at a local elementary school in Swansea, and was into a couple of activities during her four years there as she enjoyed appearing in school plays, taking dance lessons and playing various sports with her friends. It was while attending high school that Aimsey became somewhat confused about her gender, and so went on to use various pronouns, including he, she, star, they and xey; she nowadays goes by she/her and identifies as lesbian.

Aimsey matriculated in 2020, and then continued her education at a college in England, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2023; she’s today living in Brighton, England.

Most of Aimsey’s fans seem to like her for her sense of humor and personality, while there are also those who like her for her gaming skills, for being a member of the LGBTQ community and for often responding to her fans’ messages. Aimsey’s active on various social media networks and seems to be spending most of her time maintaining her TikTok account; she’s followed by more than 3.7 million people on the network, and has amassed nearly 45 million likes of all her videos combined. Most of Aimsey’s TikTok content features her sharing various DIY tips with her fans, travelling around Europe and attending various events.

Aimsey’s followed by over 900,000 people on Instagram and has shared 40 pictures and videos, with most featuring her doing cosplay, spending time with her closest friends and shooting her YouTube videos; she also shares content which features her attending various LGBTQ events.

Aimsey’s tweeted more than 35,000 times since the creation of her Twitter account in November 2018, and she’s followed by nearly 750,000 people on this network; she mostly uses Twitter to share her various thoughts with her fans, most of which are about the LGBTQ community.

Aimsey also has a Facebook profile ‘Aimsey Smith (Aimsey Wine)’, however, most of her fans believe that ‘Smith’ isn’t her real last name but was rather inspired by the film “Mr. and Mrs Smith”; Aimsey hasn’t uploaded any content onto Facebook and uses the network only for keeping in touch with her real life friends.

Love life and relationships

Aimsey rarely speaks about her love life and sexual orientation on the internet but it’s widely known that she’s lesbian.

She was once in a relationship with Serena aka Saladserns, a British social media personality who’s today followed by more than 45,000 on Instagram; the two lived together for two years. Aimsey revealed on her social media accounts in March 2022 that they’d broken up but on good terms, while they still today remain best friends.

On 1 January 2023, Aimsey revealed that she was in a relationship with Irish YouTuber and Twitch streamer Guqqie; the two have since featured each other in a couple of their YouTube videos and Instagram pictures.

There are no other girls whom Aimsey’s perhaps been with, that we know about; she’s in a relationship with Guqqie as of January 2024, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Interesting facts and hobbies

Aimsey loves to do cosplay and has recently dressed up as a character from the anime “One Piece”.

She’s into travelling, and has been to a couple of European countries; her favorite city to visit is Rome, Italy and she’s been there a couple of times.
