He’s an eminent rapper, film producer, writer, and an actor with over 85 credits to his name, perhaps known best for his role as Craig Jones in “Friday” and “Next Friday”.

Ice Cube was raised in Los Angeles by his parents, mother Doris who was a custodian and hospital clerk, and father Hosea who was a machinist and groundskeeper at the University of California, Los Angeles; he had two siblings – an older brother, and a half-sister who was murdered when Ice Cube was twelve years old.

Ice Cube attended George Washington Preparatory High School, and in ninth grade started writing raps when his school friend challenged him in typewriting class.
