Wilbur Soot is also known for being a singer-songwriter. He released his debut single “The ‘Nice Guy’ Ballad” in January 2018, while he first charted with his sixth single – “Your New Boyfriend” – which out came in December 2020. It reached No. 65 on the UK Singles Chart, No. 10 on the UK Indie Chart, and No. 100 on the Irish Singles Chart. He also entered Rolling Stone’s Top Breakthrough Chart as well as Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart. He has released two EPs, “Maybe I Was Boring” in December 2019, and “Your City Gave Me Asthma” in June 2020. Recently, Wilbur founded an indie rock band called Lovejoy in 2021.
